About Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest
Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest are the definition of Prime Real Estate. Long considered two of Atlanta’s most prestigious and affluent intown neighborhoods due in part to their unbeatable location and gawk-worthy homes. Add on to that the fact it’s located in an award-winning school district and it’s a triple threat! Conveniently located just north of Midtown and south of Buckhead, with Piedmont Park serving as the eastern border and the Midtown Arts District as the western border. The picturesque Ansley Golf Club and the abundant green spaces scattered throughout the neighborhood offer residents a relaxed and enjoyable country club lifestyle. Neighbors can be seen gathering at the parks after work and on the weekends with dogs and kids in tow. A very active community association helps preserve their history and the tight-knit sense of community that has remained intact for generations. The Residents also enjoy the many walkable attractions just on the outskirts of the neighborhood including The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Piedmont Park, The High Museum of Art, Alliance Theater and many midtown eateries.
Ansley Park and Sherwood Forest were developed in the early 1900’s and 1940’s respectively, and many of the homes are close to a century old (although heavily updated)!
