One of Atlanta’s most charming and sought-after, intown neighborhoods, Morningside is located just North of Virginia Highland, East of Ansley Park and West of Druid Hills. This classic neighborhood is often considered a more reserved and spacious version of its popular neighbor to the South, Virginia Highland. The wide, tree-lined streets meander through this early 20th century neighborhood framing the picturesque homes and well-manicured lawns. Accompanied with award-winning schools and an array of parks, boutiques, coffee shops, and local eateries, Morningside provides its residents with a small town feel in the middle of a bustling city!
Much of Morningside’s charm can be attributed to its stunning architecture which ranges from beautifully restored Tudor Revival and Craftsman Bungalows to Brick Traditional and tasteful new construction. The affluent neighborhood is almost entirely comprised of single-family homes with few townhomes and condos in the mix. Morningside is made up of 6 smaller neighborhoods including Morningside, Lenox-Park, University Park, Noble Park, Johnson Estates and Hylan Park.
