The 3rd annual Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday June 27th and 28th. The event will take place at the Historic Fourth Ward Park from 10am – 6pm and is free to the public.
With a focus on blending the arts and progressive neighborhood with its rich history, this festival is the perfect embodiment of the revitalized community that is the Old Fourth Ward. With the addition of the beltline and all the development that has come with it, Old 4th Ward is a prime example of urban redevelopment and innovation. Patrons can explore the recently finished park while taking in some of the best local and national art.
The festival will feature 150+ fine painters, photographers, sculptors, crafts, glass and jewelry makers. New this year is the “Emerging Artists” pavilion which will provide exposure opportunity to several new artists and artisans. There will be live acoustic music, demonstrations, hands-on activities as well as festival food and beverages.
This event is fun for the whole family, and provides emerging and local artists alike a spot to grow. Head over to the event’s website for more information.
