The Atlanta Beltline has been a seriously strong and transformative force over the past couple years. It has managed to connect a number of individual, intown neighborhoods in an organic manner without losing the unique characteristics that makes these communities who they are. One of the best places to see this in action is the Eastside trail where Midtown meets Virginia Highland and then runs down through the Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park neighborhoods. A number of small businesses, shops, restaurants, and markets have opened along the trail offering the pedestrians a fun, walkable lifestyle.
