Inman Park Spring Festival & Tour of Homes 2016

Inman Park FestivalThis year’s Inman Park Festival and Tour of Homes will take place the weekend of April 30th through May 1st and will include a little bit of everything.  Live music, activities for the kids, the Tour of Homes, a street parade, artists’ market and of course..people watching!  The weekend-long event is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the city’s incredible Spring weather, meet your neighbors, and poke around all those houses you’ve always wanted to look inside!

The Spring festival season is all about getting out and enjoying the weather, friends and community. There isn’t a better place to do this than Inman Park. Considered one of the nation’s first “Garden Suburbs”, a great importance was placed on the layout of streets, parks, and public spaces during its development. This foresight in the planning process has become one of Inman Park’s primary features. Pub Crawl on the Atlanta Beltline 2015

pub crawl on the beltlineIt’s that time of year again, the Pub Crawl on the Atlanta Beltline will be held on Saturday, December 12th 2015. The event will start at 1:00pm and end at 5:00pm, as if you would have any intention other than continuing to eat and drink! Taking place along the Eastside trail from Krog Street Market on one end and Park Tavern on the other, there’s a lot to take in.

Ticket holders will receive a map of the pub crawl route, a list of all participating bars and specials as well as a wrist band good for 5 complimentary drinks along the way. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t worry, anyone can tag along! this is a great opportunity to get out with friends and family and enjoy the beltline at it’s best.

Atlanta Moon Ride!

atlanta_moon_rideThe 3rd Annual Atlanta Moon Ride will take place Friday night, June 19th and tours some of Atlanta’s coolest neighborhoods. An event unlike any other, this 6.5 mile joyride encourages participants to wear outlandish costumes, strap any and all things glow-in-the-dark to themselves and their bikes, and howl at the moon! 100% of proceeds go to an awesome local charity, Bert’s Big Adventure.

The official moon ride will start at 10pm and depart from the southeast corner of Piedmont Park, next to Park Tavern. Riders are encouraged to come tailgate early starting at 6pm where there will be food trucks, beer stands and live music featuring Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics. The APD department has agreed to escort the riders and block intersections for a safe, fun and family-friendly event. The ride will head through Morningside and Virginia Highland, down through Poncey Highland and Little Five Points, winding through Inman Park and Old 4th Ward, and back to Piedmont Park taking advantage of the best stretches of the Atlanta Beltline.
